The aim of the Research Council:

To develop and to integrate laboratory methods and techniques of analysis, to ensure unity of evaluations and validity of the results, to organize orderly consideration and approval of instructional guidance documents of Quality Management System for mineralogical work during geological prospecting activities (regarding laboratory mineralogical research of minerals).

Structure of the Research Council:

  • governing body of the Research Council is NSOMMI Bureau;
  • members of the Research Council are highly qualified specialists in the sphere of mineralogical research of solid minerals;
  • functioning office of the Research Council is mineralogical department of FSBI VIMS.

Methodological documents

254 MD (3 GRL, GD, 45 instructions, 31 methodological guidelines and 174 methodological recommendations) were approved and endorsed, including 148 developed by FSBI VIMS.
